Default Re: Boeing 737MAX - statustråd

Har hørt fra en kompis hvis kusine jobber for Boeing i Seattle at det er mye som må gjøres med flyene som har stått lagret:

Quote:
Boeing has spent 10 billion on storage. Many frames have corrosion, yellowed walls, shrunk carpet and seat fabric from the heat. Interiors have to be redone.

Bathrooms and plumbing completely corroded and must be fixed. Some frames have mold problems that were stored in hot and humid areas. It was not uncommon for someone to forget closing a window. At least a few planes will need a complete redo of the cockpits. One thing annoying is they have been fixing the stored planes as fixes have been coming along but then had to be fixed again and again since the fix was not correct. Boeing discovered a lot of defects in production so some planes will need to be completely stripped and rebuilt!

A big problem is Boeing hired minimum wagers to open the planes up and air them out and clean them. However these people did not care and accidently left doors open. They have found cigarette ashes, marijuana and beer bottles in the plane!
