Default BA senker prisene i Club Europe

Fra Business Traveller:

Ever growing competition from low-cost carriers has prompted British Airways to revamp its domestic and European fares. The cost of flying Club Europe (business class) has tumbled while passengers booking cheap economy tickets now have the ability to accept a more flexible deal or to upgrade to Club Europe for a fee.As with economy class, passengers will now find that BA's Club Europe is priced according to when you book and when you travel. Passengers who fly at less busy times or who book well ahead can save 30%. By comparison, rival airlines continue to sell business class at a standard and costly price.A return Club Europe flight from London Heathrow to Paris now costs between £321 and £486 while Heathrow-Amsterdam is offered for between £319 and £429.The cost of BA's upgrades varies according to the ticket price. An economy class passenger paying £246 return to fly Gatwick-Munich would pay a further £198 to upgrade both ways to Club Europe. For an additional £55 a passenger could secure a more flexible ticket allowing flight changes at £30 a time. This is another facility not yet offered by other carriers. At the same time the new BA website design shows prices in bolder text. It also explains passengers' rights in a more simple manner. In the past BA has been accused of baffling customers with too much airline jargon.
