Brussel Airlines med Brussel-Montreal, overlater Toronto til Air Canada

Brussels Airlines fortsatter sakte og sikkert å utvide langrutenettverket sitt. Brussels-Montreal starter opp med 5x ukentlig som en sommerrute neste mars, med A330-300. Derimot så legger de ned Brussels-Toronto, ved at de overlater ruten til Air Canada, som setter inn en 787-8 5x ukentlig her. Samtidig gjør den ekstra kapasiteten at de kan utvide BRU-IAD til helårsrute

As from the end of March 2020, Brussels Airlines, Belgium’s home carrier will launch seasonal flights to Montreal, i.e. in the summer season (end March to end October), the airline will offer 5 flights per week between Brussels Airport and Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. With the remaining aircraft capacity in winter, Brussels Airlines will also increase its offer to Washington, which will become a year round service as of 20 February, whereas today this is a summer destination only.

Air Canada announced today the introduction of new, year-round services between Toronto, Canada and Brussels, Belgium starting May 1, 2020. Up to five weekly non-stop flights will be operated with Air Canada’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, featuring Signature Class, Premium Economy and Economy services. The news comes shortly after Brussels Airlines announced the launch of flights between Brussels and Montreal and the suspension of flights between Brussels and Toronto.
