FlightGlobal skrur ned alvorligheten med tilfellet, som beskrives med ordet "incident". Bombardier arbeider i naert samarbeid m/P&W for ä klarlegge hvordan tilfellet oppsto ? Andre kilder er mer pessimistiske : http://www.thestar.com/business/2014..._testing.html# Utdrag av sistnevnte kilde : According to a preliminary Transport Canada report, ground crews “declared an emergency . . . and demanded the presence of fire trucks immediately.” Smoke was coming from aircraft’s left engine, the report said. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada had an investigator onsite Thursday and is assessing the incident, spokesperson Chris Krepski said. “From the information we received, it was an uncontained engine failure during a ground test,” he said, adding that the four people onboard escaped without injuries. “There was a fire involved which was put out by airport firefighters,” he said. An uncontained failure is an especially serious problem and happens when parts of the engine break through the casing. Last edited by Frequent Traveller; 31-05-2014 at 08:29. |
