OBB 19 GOL vurderer ch.11

https://www.ch-aviation.com/news/136...-filing-report

Quote:
GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (G3, Sao Paulo Congonhas) is reportedly considering filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the United States within the next month, as talks with multiple stakeholders have not panned out favorably for the carrier, according to a report from Reuters and local Brazilian newspaper Folha de S. Paulo.

https://newsroom.aviator.aero/latam-...eorganization/

Quote:
LATAM Airlines, based in Santiago, has reached out to lessors and relevant parties if an effort to acquire up to 25 B737s currently operating with Brazilian rival GOL Linhas Aereas, as the latter recently enter judicial reorganization under Chapter 11 in the US.

Quote:
The media outlet reported Azul is considering one scenario in which Abra Group, the owner of GOL and avianca airlines, would contribute its GOL shares to Azul in exchange for a stake in the combined carrier.

GOL Linhas Aéreas, which is currently undergoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring, recently stated that it will actively evaluate all capitalisation alternatives. Meanwhile, Azul has been working on a merger proposal, hiring Citigroup and Guggenheim Partners.

When contacted by ch-aviation, Azul Linhas Aéreas, GOL, and Abra Group all declined to comment on the matter.

Azul is also said to be optimistic about gaining regulatory approval from Brazilian as well as regional antitrust regulators which would see the birth of Brazil’s largest airline, with 329 aircraft in total.

Foreløpig bare codeshare

https://newsroom.aviator.aero/gol-an...are-agreement/

Quote:
GOL and Azul airlines announce today a commercial cooperation agreement that will connect their flight networks in Brazil through a codeshare agreement. This partnership covers all domestic routes operated exclusively, meaning routes operated by one of the two companies but not the other

Quote:
Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras (AD, São Paulo Viracopos) and Abra Group signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) “aligning terms and conditions for a potential business combination" between Azul and GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (G3, São Paulo Congonhas).

If the merger proceeds, Azul and GOL will maintain separate operations and their respective operating certificates while being listed under a single corporate entity. Other areas may be consolidated, although specifics were not disclosed.

https://www.ch-aviation.com/news/151...r-11-financing

Quote:
GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (G3, São Paulo Congonhas) announced on March 24 that it had secured a commitment from investors to provide up to USD1.25 billion in financing as part of a USD1.9 billion exit financing package from its Chapter 11 restructuring.

The financing will be used to repay existing obligations, cover transaction costs, and provide working capital after emerging from bankruptcy, which is expected to take place later this year.

Investment advisers Castlelake and Elliott Investment Management committed the funds on behalf of their clients, Reuters reported. The minimum commitment amount from the two is USD750 million.
