The CRJ-200 is again making an appearance on some Delta-marketed flights. As first reported by Enilria, the aircraft type has re-appeared on select flights from the carrier’s Detroit and Salt Lake City hubs.

SkyWest – which operates the flights under the Delta Connection banner – confirmed that the CRJ-200 would be utilized on an “as-needed basis” as the company works to keep up with summer travel demand. The regional airline noted that the 50-seat aircraft would only be used in June and July adding, “all associated aircraft substitutions are temporary in nature and will not affect flight schedules or frequencies.”
