En naturlig utvikling etter hva Kirby uttalte i det etterhvert velkjente intervjuet tidligere i år. Tro om det faktisk blir noe av?

I mens har United bedt Boeing heller produsere MAX 9 til dem, siden de ikke vet når MAX 10 vil kunne leveres. Så da vil de heller ha fly så raskt som mulig, enn at masse MAX 10 tiltenkt United står lagret rundt omkring.

Leser flere steder at FAA nå nekter UA å øke flåten ytterligere, i forbindelse med det pågående tilsynet de utfører.

Virker som de kan motta nye fly, men ikke sette de i kommersiell trafikk eller åpne nye ruter.

Skal være en LoI på 35 maskiner, med leveringer 2026-2027, dog alle med CFM motorer. De har PW på deres egne ordre.

Også er flere/noen MAX 10 planlagt levert 2025-2027 konvertert til MAX 9

United har jo virkelig blitt rammet av leveringsforsinkelser fra både Boeing og Airbus i år. Basert på signerte ordre skulle de i 2024 egentlig ha mottatt 183 fly, som så mot slutten av året i fjor ble redusetr til 101. Siste prognose er nå 66 fly, hvor 5 widebody og resten narrowbody.

Første A321XLR skal etter planen komme mot slutten av 2025, vel "subject to delays from Airbus", vel å merke.
