And for whatever reason, we had 11 bird strikes on this airplane. The engines weren't damaged but it required extra inspections. We've had bird strikes on other airplanes, but we call WD001 the bird magnet. One of the mechanics painted 11 little birds on our nose gear door. Everybody in flight test has a great sense of humor.
