Default ROME CIAMPINO AIRPORT

Urgent Information - Last Updated: 21 Apr 05 19:03
CANCELLATION OF FLIGHTS TO AND FROM ROME CIAMPINO AIRPORT
23rd and 24th April 2005
Due to the inaugural mass of Pope Benedict XVI, the Italian Government has closed all airspace in and around Rome from 1300 hrs (local time in Italy) on Saturday 23rd 2005 until 1600 hrs (local time in Italy) on Sunday 24th April. As a result, Rome Ciampino Airport will be closed during these times and we have been forced to cancel MOST flights operating to and from Rome Ciampino Airport during this period. Ryanair has added extra flights on the 23rd and 24th of April to operate at Rome Fiumicino Airport (Terminal B) which is situated 20 miles west of Rome. Affected passengers have now been rebooked onto these extra Ryanair Rome Fiumicino flights at around the same time as their original Rome Ciampino flight times. Please refer to this website and your email account for further updates.
