Sun Country Airlines is asking the state for cash so it can stay airborne.

The Minnesota-based airline is asking the legislature for $50 million over two years to help offset skyrocketing fuel costs.

"We’re not looking for a handout," said Sun Country CEO Stan Gadek. "We’re not looking for an entitlement. We simply need some help to tide us through until the industry stabilizes."

nei, det heter selvsagt aldri "subsidier" når man vil ha det selv. Da heter det "stabile rammevilkår" eller "like konkurransemuligheter"
