AeroMexico har laget en plan for hvordan selskapet skal se ut i fremtiden

Kort sagt, skal flåten reduseres fra 127 til ca 80 fly, og i langt større grad sentreres rundt 737 familien, så mange E170 og E190 maskiner skal ut. Samt longhaul blir en ren 787-9 flåte

Det ser ut til at de er ute og henter flere 738, ifølge planespotters:

- og det er 6 ex-Norwegian-maskiner det er snakk om, nemlig SE-RRA (LN-DYA), SE-RRC (LN-DYC), SE-RRD (LN-DYD), (ex-)LN-NGF, (ex-)LN-NGG samt 737-8FZ EI-FHH (LN-NOV) som ikke fikk noen karriere som G-TUKC hos TUI UK likevel, den har stått lagret på QLA siden 20.mars i fjor.

Alt med forbehold om at Planespotters har rett...

Manana, manana....Aeromexico trenger mere tid på å komme seg ut av ch.11, og har fått innvilget ytterligere 75 dager av retten i New York

AeroMexico virker ha benyttet krisen godt og brukt CH.11 til flåtefornyelse. Eldre maskiner er tvunget tilbake til leasingselskaper og «dyre» gamle bestillinger hos Boeing kansellert. Samtidig er billigere avtaler på flere MAXer signert slik at MAX flåten deres vil øke kraftig fremover og de vil ha noen og 40 ved utgangen av 2022. Ca 1/3 -9 og 2/3 -8

Mange av MAXene som kommer var fly tiltenkte andre selskaper

Ute av ch11 og med nye midler vil AeroMexico kjøpe tilbake den snaue halvparten av bonusprogrammet sitt som de solgte for 10-12 år siden
