KLM og Qantas med codeshare

Nok et eksempel på codeshare og samarbeid på tvers av alliansene når KLM og Qantas inngår codeshare samarbeid mellom Amsterdam og Singapore, og Singapore-Australia.

Dette er jo også "deep" codeshare, hvor man også opptjener bonuspoeng hos hverandre

Qantas and KLM have signed a codesharing agreement, with ticket sales to start on 1 November.

The agreement will see Qantas placing its code on KLM's Singapore-Amsterdam service. In return, KLM will codeshare on flights from Singapore to Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

At the same time, Qantas frequent flyer members will be able to earn points and status credits on the codeshared flights to Amsterdam, as well as KLM lounge access in Amsterdam. Plans to enable redemption on the codeshare flights are also being looked at.
