Hei,
Noe jeg aldri har forstått logikken på disse forskjellige klassene på billetten folk snakker om. Jeg tror jeg har forstått at Y-klasse er business og F er First Class? Men jeg ser også folk skriver om T,S, Q og en hel haug av andre bokstaver. Finnes det en oversikt over hva disse betyr? Beklager hvis dette er et spørsmål som har gått om igjen og igjen. Jeg prøvde å søke etter noe konkret, men resultatet var heller dårlig.

Man må skille mellom bookingklasser og kabinklasser. Sistnevnte er det enkleste, og da snakker om normalt om F for First, C for business (Amerikanerene liker å bruke J), og Y er normalt economy. Y+ eller PE er ofte brukt om premium economy. Dette er mer eller mindre uoffisielle forkortelser, typisk brukt i diverse forum.
Når det kommer til alle det andre bokstavene så er dette bookingklasser og har mer å gjøre med prisen på billetten og hva slags regler som gjelder. Og ikke minst hvor mange bonuspoeng man får. Det er endel bokstaver som går igjen riktignok Ta SAS som eksempel, i hvertfall før omleggingene. A, C, D, J og Z, var alle business, men i forskjellige prisklasser og regler vedrørende fleksibilitet. Itillegg hadde man I som var bonusbilletter i business. Y, S og B var det samme i Eco Extra, med P som bonusbilletter i Economy Extra. M, H, Q, E, W, U, K, L, T, G, O, V (lengst til høyere, M, var dyrest og mest fleksibel), samt X for business billetter. G var gruppereiser og R og N diverse standby/non-rev billetter. Dette var bare for SAS og andre selskaper har samme oppbyggning, men med forskjellig bruk av bokstaver. Så er vanskelig med en fasit her. |

![]() Men kan jeg som enkeltperson bestemme om jeg vil kjøpe en Z eller A-billett? Når jeg går inn på et flyselskap, så kan jeg kun velge mellom sete i de forskjellige kabinklassene som selskapet har?

United), noen fikser det manuelt (Widerøe), ellers må du booke pr. telefon med selskapet eller reisebyrå.

For å utfylle litt mer om bookingklasser og pris. Prisen på en billett styres av farebasis. F.eks kan en farebasis hos SAS se slik ut: THAPPY, KNOOWM eller lignende. THAPPY betyr bookingklasse T og billetttype er Happy. KNOOWM betyr typisk bookingklasse K, NOrge, One Way, serviceklasse M.
Hver bookingklasse kan ha flere forskjellige fare basis knytet til seg. Et eksempel på dette kan være bookingklasse V hos SAS. F.eks så vil fare basis på ungdomsbillett se slik ut: VZZ. Og som før så er det førstebokstav som avgjør bookingklasse. Altså bookingklasse V. Men der finns flere farebasis som tilhører bookingklasse V. F.eks Last Minute Ungdomsbillett. Fare basis på den var VLMZZ. Også denne er bookingklasse V, men har forskjellig pris som vanlig ungdomsbillett, men altså sammme tilgjengelighet.... |

Svært mange også da firmaer med storkundeavtaler gjerne har egne koder. f.eks Z[firmanavn/kode] som var/er full flex domestic og som jeg reiste mye med før

Min arbeidsgiver bruker Via, og deres online portal gir meg mulighet til å velge mellom en rekke priser i forskjellige bookingklasser på samme avgang. Dette varierer kanskje fra webportal til webportal?
