British Airways returnerer til Isle of Man

British Airways today announced the launch of London City – Isle of Man service, which starts from 28MAY12 with weekdays service by Embraer E170 by BA CityFlyer. From 25JUN12, service increase to up to 3 daily and operational aircraft will change to Saab 2000 aircraft, wet-leased from Eastern Airways.

There have been no direct flights between the island and London City airport since mid April after Irish carrier Aer Arann pulled the plug on the route claiming it was ‘not a strategic fit’ with its new business model.
