Det rapporteres foreløpig om to drepte og 43 skadde .. men det kan fort endre seg. Maskinen er en MD82, men ikke ex-SAS.

ryktene sier motorbrann ved avgang, flyet i fullt fyr.
BBC melder om omkommede og mange skadete haaper det gaar bra med saa mange som mulig...

Regarding flight number JK 5022
Palma de Mallorca, 20th of August 2008, 15.45 p.m. Spanair regrets to confirm that its flight number JK 5022 from Madrid to Las Palmas de Gran Canarias was involved in an accident at Madrid, at 14.45 hrs local time today. JK is a code share flight with Lufthansa LH 255. Spanair is doing everything possible to assist the Spanish authorities at this difficult time. Spanair will provide further information as soon as it becomes available. SAS Group regrets to confirm that one of its Spanair aircraft, anMD-80, with flight number JK 5022 from Madrid to Las Palmas was involved in an accident at Madrid Barajas Airport. No further details of the accident are available at the moment. SAS is doing everything possible to help passengers and next-of-kin and to assist Spanish authorities at this difficult time. Blir verre og verre. 50 omkommet ifølge El Mondo, ifølge TV2.
En smule selvkritikk fra meg: Dette er jo spekulasjoner, ingenting er bekreftet. Synes heller ikke TV2 bør presentere dette før det er bekreftet. Nå melder Reuters at det er 21. Litt "morsomt" på CNN. Richard Quest, CNN Aviation Correspondent: "Spanair er eid av SAS, som er eid av Sverige, Danmark... og eh - andre land i regionen".
