Lufthansa og Cathay Pacific har inngått et samarbeid som både innebærer codeshare og noe innen bonusprogram, uten at det helt kommer frem hva

Samarbeid på tvers av alliansene er ikke så uvanlig, men det er litt interessant Lufthansa her inngår et samarbeid med Cathay, samtidig som de har joint venture og et dypt samarbeid med Singapore Airlines på de samme rutene. I tillegg til både Air China og ANA i Asia fra før

Visstnok dras konkurransen fra Midt-Østen selskapene frem, samtidig som det ikke er mange måneder siden Lufthansa og Etihad inngikk codeshare på endel ruter

Swiss og Austrian er også inkludert her

Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific and the Lufthansa Group today signed an agreement covering codeshare services and FFPs (frequent flyer programmes).

The agreement takes effect from April 27. In Europe it will involve Lufthansa mainline along with Swiss and Austrian Airlines. (Note: Brussels Airlines is not included).

Samme gjelder vel også Cathay som vel har et samarbeid med både Air Berlin, British Airways, Iberia og Finnair her i Europa.

De har codeshare på endel ruter, men ingen JV. Noen rykter sier forholdet mellom BA og CX ikke er det aller beste

Ser ut som FRA-OSL vil bli Cathay codeshare hos Lufthansa, men ingen andre skandinaviske destinasjoner.
Ellers er det AKL, MEL, SYD og CNS som er codeshare videre fra HKG hos CX
