Tøffe tider og forsinkede leveringer gjør at de tar grep - som å øke til 10 i bredden på 777-300 .. København er også forsinket, selv om noen noen offisiell lansering ikke har skjedd.

In Aug-2015 Cathay flagged that the A350 could open service to London Gatwick, Madrid and Copenhagen. London Gatwick and Madrid have eventuated (Madrid with the 777-300ER, at least initially) while it appears Copenhagen is now at least a 2017 timeframe. Tel Aviv could also be in a 2017 timeframe.

Cathay Pacific has scrapped its profit forecast for the second half of the fiscal year, and is conducting a "critical review" of its business as overcapacity and poor yields have put pressure on revenues.

Samtidig har de nettopp annonsert 4x ukentlig til Tel Aviv, så de kommer før CPH, hvis de i det hele tatt vil annonsere CPH i 2017
