Quote:
As a consequence hereof and consistent with our growth strategy, NAI is now in a position to
commit to use only European and U.S. pilots and crews on NAI transatlantic flights (except if
compelled by extraordinary and unforeseen operational reasons).

Allow me to take this opportunity to reiterate our position on some of the common
mischaracterizations related to our well-established use of employment agencies. As we have
explained in our filings, to minimize initial start-up costs and secure expertise in local laws and
regulations, Norwegian has regularly utilized the services of employment agencies for the
recruitment and temporary provision of crews for a transitional period of 24-36 months in
connection with the opening of new bases. We carefully evaluate the agencies we use and require
them to hire crews on individual employment contracts, offering the same degree of job
protection and other terms and conditions as crews hired directly by a company in the Norwegian
Group.
It has been and will continue to be our firm policy to offer all pilots and cabin crews employed
through agencies the opportunity to transfer their employment to a company in the Norwegian
Group at the end of the transitional period. By way of example, in accordance with this policy
pilots who were previously employed by agencies at our bases in Finland and Spain have now
been offered employment with a company in the Norwegian Group. The same principles will be
applied by NAI in relation to the pilots and crews engaged in transatlantic operations.
