KLM Utfasering F-50 KLM

Denne interne mailen fikk jeg i dag (utfaseringen er avsluttet senest 1 oktober 2010):

As of the 1st of April 2009, two Fokker 50 aircraft, PH-KXH and PH-LXK, are stored in a “Fly away” storage at Nayak in Cologne (CGN). This is the start of the phasing-out program for the F50. One of these aircraft will be phased out during the summer and returned to the lease company, who owns the aircraft. Main reason for the “Fly away” storage is the decline in production caused by the economic down turn. A “Fly Away Storage” means that the aircraft remains in such condition that it could be taken back into operation within 24 hours. As a result, the number of F50 aircraft in operation will be reduced from 12 to 10. The 10 remaining aircraft will still operate 7 lines leaving 3 aircrafts as spare during a normal day of operation. These aircraft can be recalled when this is necessary for technical reasons.

Det var da voldsomt mange fly i reserve Sliter også KLM sine F50 med mye teknisk?

Det er saerlig leasingkontrakter som gjoer at det er billigere aa ha dem som reserve i AMS i stedet for aa si opp avtalen. it's all about €€€€€€€.......:-)

Det er usikker. Foer krisen var planene at F-50 skulle uffaseres i 2012. Som etterfoelger saa man bl.a. paa E-170 og Dash-8. Naa har vi krisen. KLM bestemte seg for aa utfsre F-50 raskest, som oekonomisk forsvarlig, som mulig. Rutene som nedlegges av F-50 er overtatt av andre aktoerer (VLM mellom Rotterdam og London, Cityjet mellom Amsterdam og London City), Antwerpen- Amsterdam, Eindhoven -Amsterdam og Maastricht - Amsterdam ble nedlagt fordi toget er et godt alternativ og rutene ikke er loensomme. En del av F-50 nettverket blir overtatt av F-70 som KLM har bestlit 5 stykker av fra Franske Regional (3 stk er naa operasjonelle). Ryktene sier naa at Brussel - Amsterdam skal nedlegges innen ca. 2 aar (erstattes av tog), og at Luxemburg-Amsterdam blier F-70. F-70 settes naa ogsaa inn mellom Amsterdam- til blant annet Bremen og Hamburg som etterfoelger for F-50.

KLM F-50 var et digg fly å reise meg. Vi så dem jo en del på Sola for noen år tilbake. Men når sluttet KLM å fly med F50 på SVG?

Justering i planene til utfasering: KLM's siste F-50 flyvning finner sted senest mars 2010. For noen dager siden ble PH-KVE og PH-KVF solgt. De ble direkte tatt ut av drift. Kanskje sammenheng med denne meldingen:
