Ja, om noen dager reiser to musketerer til ABQ. Vil takke så mye de TRE musketerer for gode tips, spes for Kayenta..
Last edited by SQ 777; 29-08-2010 at 15:40. |

Vi kjørte Shiprock så 64 + 550 til ABQ. Veldig lite spennende å se, men grei vei.

Cadillac DTS for suuure!
Have fun på tur, gutar! ![]()

Quote:
" We vacationed in this area three years ago and had a fabulous time. We took our cues for each stop from locals at the previous stop. We met some amazing people and saw some amazing things. In my suggestions below, I've connected that trip to work I've been doing in southern Colorado to make some suggestions. Extend farther north from Taos. Head east through the "enchanted circle" to Angel Fire, Eagle's Nest, Red River and Questa. You will see a huge variety of beautiful mountains and alpine scenery. http://enchantedcircle.org/ Return to Espanola and take US-84 to Abiquiu. Stay at the Abiquiu Inn. http://www.abiquiuinn.com/. The next morning head up to Chama. At Chama is a narrow gauge railroad with a hand-stoked coal fired locomotive. The entire project is volunteer effort and they are happy to have visitors. http://wikitravel.org/en/Chama_(New_Mexico) Leaving Chama, drive up SR-17 into Colorado. Plan this part of the drive for the afternoon. The road is excellent and the views are awesome. You'll end up in Antonito, Colorado. Head north to Monte Vista and take US-160 over historic Wolf Creek pass to Pagosa Springs. Then head west to Durango Colorado. Keep in mind that the whole area is extremely high. All of the time you will be over 2,500m and will see passes close to 4,000m. Much of New Mexico is barren and uninteresting. The area to the north is, however, absolutely beautiful. " |
