Default Re: QF signerer deal for 787

Og planene forandres:

Quote:
Qantas (QF, Sydney Kingsford Smith (SYD)) has announced the cancellation of its order for 35 B787-9s that were scheduled to be delivered between 2014 and 2019. Its subsidiary JetStar Airways (JQ, Melbourne Tullamarine International (MEL)) will however still take delivery of the 15 B787-8s Qantas had originally ordered with deliveries expected to start from the second half of 2013. The B787-8s will replace JetStar's fleet of 11 A330-200s (12 by 2013) that will then instead be moved back to Qantas to replace some of the 23 B767-300s Qantas uses on domestic flights. As part of its agreement with Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare International (ORD)), Qantas has moved forward the potential delivery dates to start from 2016 for the 50 B787-9 options it plans to retain.
