Fikk inn denne nettopp fra en som flyr nødhjelp i Sudan:
We had a near repeat of 'the Loki Incident' yesterday. Details are still sketchy, but apparently the evening before last, a Let 410 from Norwegian Peoples' Aid (NPA) hit a cow, either on landing or take-off, just north of Leer, in Upper Nile. The aircraft was about as flyable as the cow, after the impact, so the crew spent the night in the field. Yesterday morning another Let 410 went to the rescue. Unfortunately, during the landing, it collided with the first one and now there are another two wrecks to add to the aviation graveyard which is Southern Sudan. As far as I know there were no injuries except to the cow, which is now presumably providing much-needed sustenance to the locals.
