Første nyhet ut er at Boeing planlegger å modifisere nødutgangene på 737-8max, så man kan øke antall passasjerer fra 189 til 200. Et direkte svar nå som Airbus øker A320 sin maks sertifiserte antall passasjerer fra 180 til 189
