Ifølge Nikkei skal JAL starte opp nye ruter med 787-8 til HEL og SAN innen mars neste år.

"JAL will announce a medium-term management plan on the 15th which will include new NRT-SAN and NRT-HEL routes (to start within the next FY, ie by March 2013), ten additional 787 orders, an unspecified number of additional 737 orders, and a total of about $5 billion in infrastructure investment -- including aircraft parts and IT system upgrades."

Lurer på hva AY synes om dette. Økt konkurranse til NRT kan jo bety endel tapt trafikk for AY, spesielt tatt i betrakting at JL sitt biz-produkt er langt bedre enn AY sitt.
