Swiss starter to nye ruter fra Zürich neste vår: Osaka (
KIX) 5x ukentlig med A340-300 og Washington DC (
IAD) daglig med A330-300
Der er leveringen av to nye 777-300ER som muliggjør dette, da disse settes inn til
NRT og
MIA, og frigjør da en A340-300 og en A330-300, som kan brukes på de nye rutene
Visstnok var Swiss også interessert i å starte
ICN, men fikk ikke tak i ønskede slots, så da ble det
KIX isteden

SWISS is to modify and expand its services in view of the coming delivery of two further Boeing 777-300ER aircraft which were purchased in 2018. Osaka (Japan) and Washington, D.C. (USA) will be added to the SWISS long-haul network, with non-stop service by Airbus A330/A340 aircraft, from March 2020. The Japanese capital of Tokyo will receive daily Boeing 777-300ER service from February 2020.
