I forbindelse med levering av de nye A321LR maskinene til AerLingus som jo kommer med lie-flat seter i business, så vil disse også brukes på enkelte korte ruter innen Europa. Da mellom slingene på de korte transatlantiske rutene de skal brukes på. AerLingus har jo bare hatt en klasse innen Europa etter de ble en «semi-LCC» i 2005
