Blue Air (Romania) (0B, Bucharest Otopeni) has announced it will open its first UK base in Liverpool in late March of next year.
Using a single B737-800, the Romanian LCC plans to connect the north west English port city with Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel, Milan Orio al Serio, and Rome Fiumicino initially before rolling out service to Alicante in late April.
Blue Air's current Liverpool operations entail flights to Bacau and Cluj-Napoca.
